Liki North
The trek will start at Old Moses Camp (3,300M asl).
Distance: approximately 12 km.

Acclimatization:
This trek offers great acclimatization due to the gradual gain in altitude. It’s recommended to take it slow, hydrate well, and listen to your body to avoid altitude sickness.
What to Expect:
- Altitude: Likki North is above 3,500M asl, so the air is thinner, and you may experience mild altitude effects. Proper acclimatization is important.
- Weather: The weather in Mount Kenya can be unpredictable. It’s common for the area to get cold and misty, so pack warm clothing and waterproof gear.
Essential Gear:
- Warm layers and a waterproof jacket
- Comfortable hiking pant
- Sturdy hiking boots with good ankle support
- Snacks and plenty of water
- Trekking poles for the steep sections
- Sunscreen and a hat for sun protection at high altitudes
